Data Deletion

You are always in control of your data. CheckYourDM lets you delete your account and everything tied to it — instantly and permanently — and we never store your Instagram password. You can remove your data in any of the three ways below.

1. Delete your account instantly (recommended)

Inside the app, go to Settings → Account → Danger zone and click Delete account. After you confirm, we immediately and permanently erase:

• Your account, login, and profile
• All connected Instagram accounts and their access tokens
• Every automation, saved reply, ice-breaker, and menu
• All activity logs, analytics, queued messages, and lead data
• Billing records and team invites

This action is irreversible and completes in seconds — there is nothing left to recover.

2. Disconnect Instagram only

To keep your CheckYourDM account but remove the Instagram connection, go to Settings → Accounts and remove the account. This revokes our access token and stops all automation for it. You can also revoke access anytime from Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites.

3. Request deletion by email

Prefer us to handle it? Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my data”. We confirm and complete the wipe within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What we keep

When you delete your account we remove all personal and identifiable data. We retain only anonymous, aggregate statistics (for example, the number of accounts on a plan tier over time) which contain no personal information and cannot be linked back to you.

CheckYourDM operates on Meta’s official Instagram Graph API and complies with the Meta Platform Terms and applicable data-protection laws. Questions? Email [email protected].
